Jamboree in the Hills..cooler,smaller a bit in 09

It's one of the great festivals of Summer..Jamboree in the Hills...not far from Wheeling West Virginia...still rolling today
( Sunday).... from one of the concert goers:

St. Clairsville, Ohio resident Mike Dutcher said he has attended JITH for the past seven years.

"There is a little bit smaller crowd this year, but it is still early. ... It is a little cool this year, too," he said, noting he would still have a good time.

Belmont County Sheriff's Department Capt. Ron Everett said most Jamboree fans have been well-behaved, but he still wishes he had more deputies to work at the event.

"We have 133, counting our mounted units," he said of his deputy count. "We could use about 50 more."

The show continues today with scheduled performances from the Fabulous Bender Boys, Chris Higbee Project, Mayf Nutter, Stephen Cochran, Eric Church, Neal McCoy, Lee Ann Womack, the Steve Miller Band and Toby Keith.
