Country Music Drawing Big Crowds

Three of the top Five concerts of the first part of 2009 were Country Shows...

Crowds like this one at Country USA in Wisconsin are impressing the concert business watchers.

The big concert of the year was in Palm Springs,Coachella with a 15 Million dollar gross... McCartney was among the stars there..

Stagecoach with Paisley and Chesney among others brought in over 6 million.

The big George Strait Cowboy stadium show did 5 million....The Chesney Soldier Field over 3 million.. It's not all win and roses.

City Stages in Birmingham is going out of business after this years poor attendance....Montgomery's Jubilee CityFest is hanging on by a thread. Several other Southern city festivals have been victims of hot weather or rain. It's not an easy business...

July is a month of huge gatherings...Several in Wisconsin,Ohio,West Va and Canada.
