18 Stadium Shows for Kenny Chesney in 2018

Nashville, Tenn. —With Live from No Shoes Nation, the 30-song live recording celebrating the heart and soul of the million+ fans who come out each summer to see Chesney live, hitting streets Oct. 27, Kenny Chesney’s ready to get back to the fans. After a few weeks’ progress working with various organizations to deal with the devastation in the Virgin Islands, the 8-time ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year announces the stadium portion of his 2018 Trip Around The Sun Tour.

“Listening to all those tapes of all those shows led to Live in No Shoes Nation,” Chesney says. “And playing those two nights in Foxboro this year made me really want to get out there with all the people who LIVE this music. We have so much fun, so much life, so many memories – all tied up in these shows and these songs – I am ready to get out there and kick into another summer where we can all celebrate how lucky we are to love life and be able to come together.”

Brad Paisley Welcome Opry Member Chris Young

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - (October 17, 2017) – Grammy-nominated vocalist Chris Young was officially welcomed and inducted into the Grand Ole Opry family this evening by his friend, Opry member Brad Paisley. Backstage before taking the stage, Young recounted how he had begun listening to the Opry at around age four and first saw the show live at around age eight. “There is always such a respect for where we all come from here,” he said.

After Young had performed two of his hits and two of his favorite country classics for a sold-out audience, Paisley took the stage to present Young with the Opry Member Award presented to each official member of the Opry family.

Paisley’s LOVE AND WAR album was released earlier this year and was his 9th consecutive studio album to debut #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. It is the first ever country music visual album. For a limited time it was available exclusively on Apple Music but now is available in its entirety on VEVO. It can be viewed HERE. All 16 songs from the album flow seamlessly as a movie to tell the complete story. Locations of the video shoots ranged from a concert in a Sleep Number store in a mall, a party at Brad’s parent’s house to the USS Midway in San Diego, CA.  Brad Paisley, Dave Brown, Derek Cressman, Frank Agnone, Jeff Venable, Jim Shea and Todd Cassetty were the directors involved.  Producers included Ben Skipworth, Frank Agnone, Jim Shea, Kendal Marcy, Mark Kalbfeld and Todd Cassetty, and executive producer was Kendal Marcy.

Heaven South by Brad Paisley

NASHVILLE, TN – Country music superstar Brad Paisley has announced the next single from his chart-topping LOVE AND WAR album will be “Heaven South.” Written by Paisley, Brent Anderson and Chris DuBois, it is one of the 16 tracks on LOVE AND WAR, all of which Paisley co-wrote. 
The video for “Heaven South” was filmed in Franklin, TN earlier this year and captures the community spirit of a small town. From traveling the country roads in the back of a pick-up truck to an impromptu concert set up on town square – the residents of Franklin packed the streets.

All The Presidents Helping Out

All five living former presidents will participate in a hurricane relief concert at Texas A&M’s Reed Arena on Oct. 21. The George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Foundation said that Bush, George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama will be featured at the concert. A spokesman for George H.W. Bush said that all five presidents are scheduled to appear together on stage, but the emphasis will be on the music. Lee Greenwood will emcee the event, called “Deep From the Heart: The One America Appeal,” and on the bill are Alabama, the Gatlin Brothers, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, Sam Moore, Yolanda Adams, Cassadee Pope, and Stephanie Quayle. NASHVILLE, Tenn. - (September 22, 2017) – The Grand Ole Opry celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Reba McEntire’s Opry debut tonight with surprise appearances by Dolly Parton and Carrie Underwood with Vince Gill as host.
