TIN PAN SOUTH BEGINS WITH A BANG! (Nashville, Tennessee...) A little rain and late winter temps couldn't dampen the spirits of the thousands of concert-goers in town for the 19thAnnual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival Presented by Regions Bank. Over 120 songwriters took to the stage at nine of Nashville's finest venues over the first two nights, and laughter, tears and surprises abounded.

SETTLEMENT REACHED BY SARA EVAN'S EX-HUSBAND CRAIG SCHELSKE SLANDER LAWSUIT

Nashville, Tennessee (MMD Newswire) March 31, 2011 -- Oregon Politician and ex-husband of Country singer, Sara Evans, Craig Schelske announced his acceptance of a settlement offer with prominent Nashville, Tennessee divorce attorney, John Hollins, Sr. and Hollins, Wagster, Yarbrough, Weatherly & Raybin, P.C., regarding the slander lawsuit, Schelske vs. Hollins. Hollins conceded to Schelske late afternoon on Thursday March 24, with an undisclosed settlement.

Hollins succumbed to the pressure imposed by Schelske in light of the impending truth regarding the falsity of Hollins' statement made to People Magazine where Hollins claimed that he had photos depicting Schelske in sexual situations.

"... Let me tell you what, everything we allege, we've got photographs to back up the allegations of the complaint," Hollins told People magazine during the divorce proceedings.

Aldean to Debut “Dirt Road Anthem” on 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards

CMA TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL VOLUNTEER FAIR FOR CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL THURSDAY, APRIL 7 AND SATURDAY, APRIL 9
NASHVILLE - CMA is once again looking for top-notch volunteers to help during 2011 CMA Music Festival which will be held Thursday through Sunday, June 9-12, in Downtown Nashville. This marks the second year the trade association has asked the citizens of Middle Tennessee and beyond to help the Nashville community by serving as ambassadors during the event. Half of the net proceeds from 2011 CMA Music Festival will be donated to support music education in Metro Nashville Public Schools through CMA's Keep the Music Playing program.
