WARNER BROS. RECORDS RELEASES ORIGINAL SONGWRITER DEMOS –
AVAILABLE TODAY, OCTOBER 19TH

Nashville, TN – Warner Bros. Records is bringing music back to its roots with the release of Volumes 1 and 2 of the Original Songwriter Demos, a collection of original demo performances, available TODAY. This unique project gives listeners a behind-the-scenes look at country music’s most influential hits, with fan favorites like Miranda Lambert’s "The House That Built Me" and George Strait’s “Check Yes or No.” The Original Songwriter Demos provides a fresh perspective by showcasing the original intent of the songwriter and by letting music fans hear the version that was pitched to the artists who have made these hits into a household classic. In addition, the CD booklet and digital download PDF contains the stories behind each hit song as told by the songwriters. TheOriginal Songwriter Demos will be available online at www.originalsongwriterdemos.com as well as at all digital retailers. Several Nashville songwriting and music industry landmarks will also carry the project including The Bluebird Cafe, The Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Grand Ole Opry Gift Shop.
 
Highlights in Volume 1 include hits such as Deana Carter's "Strawberry Wine" (Matraca Berg, Gary Harrison), Miranda Lambert's "The House that Built Me" (Tom Douglas, Allen Shamblin) and Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance" (Mark Sanders, Tia Sillers). Volume 2 includes classics like, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill's "It's Your Love" (Stephony Smith), John Michael Montgomery's "I Swear" (Gary Baker, Frank Meyers) and Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel" (Hillary Lindsey, Gordie Sampson, Brett James).
