HOTTEST TICKET!

WITH ADDITIONAL SHOW SELLING OUT IN 23 MINUTESALAN JACKSON DAZZLES “DOWN UNDER” WITH
 HISTORIC FIRST TOUR IN AUSTRALIA
Alan Jackson may be known as a small town Southern man, but there is nothing small about his first headline tour of Australia. Tickets for Jackson’s March 12, third show in Brisbane - added to Jackson’s tour Down Under due to high ticket demand - sold out yesterday in Australia in a mere 23 minutes. Jackson’s previous four sell-outs - Melbourne’s March 4 date, Sydney’s March 7 and the first two Brisbane dates, March 10 and 11, happened in under an hour when they went on sale last Friday.
Comments Rob Beckham, Jackson’s responsible agent at WME, “Country music fans here in the U.S. have long known what an incredible experience an Alan Jackson concert is – it doesn’t surprise me at all that Australian fans would respond with the same enthusiasm and excitement.”

"Alan Jackson has proven  - again  - the magnitude of his career. He is a Country music icon, and his Australian fans have proven that they crave to see all those hits in person," said Rob Potts, CEO of Rob Potts Entertainment Edge and co-promoter of the tour. "This tour has been in the works for years - we’re delighted that we can finally make it happen.  I am just grateful Alan wants to see another part of the South - the South continent, that is!"

Special guests on tour with Jackson in Australia will be country artists Miranda Lambert and Australia’s own  - and recent Nashville resident - Jasmine Rae.

Alan Jackson is one of the most successful and respected songwriter/performers in music, inspiring audiences across several generations with his modern approach to classic country. A 16-time CMA and 16-time ACM Award winner and a GRAMMY winning songwriter/performer, Jackson’s career to date has included sales of more than 50 million albums and 34 #1 hit singles, including ‘Drive’, ‘Chattahoochee’ and ‘Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)’.  On November 22, Jackson will release 34 Number Ones, a career-spanning, double-disc collection featuring all 34 of Jackson’s #1 hits. With 37 songs in all, the project will also include two rare tracks as well as the Zac Brown Band-collaborated hit “As She’s Walking Away.”
