Buddy Jewell On the Road Again

(Nashville, Tennessee...) -- August 30, 2010 -- Country Star Buddy Jewell will bring his soulful brand of country music to over 40 markets beginning Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Munster, Indiana. The fall leg will wrap October 2 in Union City, TN, before he heads across the Pacific for dates in Japan and China. His Saturday, September 4 date in Lewisburg, Tennessee is a benefit for the Caney Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Winter dates will be announced shortly.
Buddy Jewell rose to national prominence with his debut smash hit single "Help Pour Out the Rain (Lacey's Song)" after winning the debut season of USA Networks' hit show "Nashville Star." He was a crowd favorite throughout the inaugural fan-voted competition, as viewers and critics alike fell in love with his gentility, enthusiasm and true musical passion.
His self-titled debut album on Columbia Records entered the Top Country Album Charts at #1 and was later certified gold. His first two singles hit the top five, and Buddy was recognized by the ACM, CMA and CMT Awards with multiple nominations.
His latest single, "Somebody Who Would Die For You," is tugging on heart strings and making radio phones ring. Stations from coast to coast are reporting positive feedback from programmers and listeners alike.
