23rd ANNUAL MUSIC ROW LADIES GOLF TOURNAMENT SETS UP FOR TEE OFF
Benefitting United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee
Nashville, Tennessee (Aug. 11, 2010) – The fairer sex hits the fairway onMonday, August 16 at Old Natchez Country Club (1323 Sneed Road) for the 23rdAnnual Music Row Ladies Golf Tournament (MRLGT). There’s still time to show your support for the event’s beneficiary, the United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee (UCP), by registering a team as well as bidding on exciting online auction items.
The roster includes industry drivers from ASCAP; Azoff Music/Front Line MGT; Big Loud Shirt/Bucks; Big Tractor Music; BMI; Cal IV Entertainment; Capitol Records Nashville, Chrysalis Music Group; Chumley Productions; CMA; Creative Artists Agency; EMI Music Publishing; Flood, Bumstead, McCready & McCarthy; Hampton Music; Harris Music; Kobalt Music; Martin, Allbee & Association; Musicians Hall of Fame; NARAS; SESAC; Show Dog Universal Music; Sony/ATV Music Publishing; SunTrust; The Primacy Firm and Crownover Tisinger PC; Warner Chappell Music; Wells Fargo; William Morris Endeavor Entertainment; Women’s Music Business Association and Zavitson Music Group. The day will kick off with breakfast sponsored by Bread & Co., prior to 8:30am tee-off. Before the last round of tee-offs, teams will enjoy a grill out lunch sponsored by Allen Reynolds. A Happy Hour at the 19th Hole will be sponsored by Kenny Chesney to keep things in full swing. The tournament will conclude with a Loveless Café-sponsored dinner, awards ceremony and a silent auction to benefit UCP. A special online auction, hosted by Country Music Marketplace, will allow the MRLGT to continue supporting UCP throughout the year. Items will include autographed merchandise, guitars and meet & greets with today’s hottest country stars like Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley,Jewel, Kellie Pickler, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Lee Ann Womack and Chris Young as well as prime product from the Nashville Predators and Tennessee Titans. About MRLGT: Sponsored by ASCAP, Tim McGraw, UMG Nashville and UBS, this tournament has proven to be one of the music business’ most creative and charitable events. With hundreds of music industry professionals and several Country Music stars, over $1.5 million dollars has been raised for UCP.
About UCP: United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee’s mission is to advance the independence, productivity, and full citizenship of people with disabilities and to provide support for individuals with cerebral palsy and closely related disabilities through the provision of financial assistance for the purchase or repair of adaptive equipment as deemed appropriate by the volunteer committee which oversees its distribution. Some examples of adaptive equipment for which these funds are intended include: wheelchairs, lifts, ramps, communication aides, therapy aides, auto hand controls, special shoes, braces and walkers.
