NASHVILLE, TN – Feb 26, 2010 -
After playing thousands of shows from roadhouses to arenas in nearly every corner of the U.S., award winning singer/songwriter Jack Ingram is about to embark on his first Australian tour kicking-off at CMC Rocks the Snowys on March 6 in Sydney.

“I hear that Australian’s love their music, love their beer and love to have a real good time…I think we’re going to have a lot in common,” says Ingram. “The opportunity to go over to Australia, play my music and meet a bunch of new people is something I’m very much looking forward to.”

From Sydney, Ingram will hit the road with international country stars Doc Walker (Canada) and Steve Forde (Australia) as part of CMC ROCKS.  The rockin’ country crew will make stops in various cities, culminating with a show in Brisbane.

In preparation of his Australian run, Ingram caught up with CMC in Nashville at the CMA Awards, the historic Ryman Auditorium and more.  The show, “Rollin’ With Jack Ingram,” was one of the most watched shows on the Australian network for the month of February and will air again today.

Upon his return stateside, the road warrior’s “Acoustic Motel” tour will pick back up in Atlanta, Ga. on March 23 at Eddie’s Attic before heading up the east coast.
