Fans Flock to Radio Visits to Cheer Danny Gokey!

Excitement High for March 2 Album Release, My Best Days

Nashville, TN – 19 Recordings/RCA Nashville recording artist Danny Gokey is winning new fans everywhere with his feel-good single, “My Best Days Are Ahead of  Me,” and both new fans and old friends who cheered him on Season Eight of American Idol are turning out in droves for Danny’s personal appearances.

Currently amid a busy radio tour, the fan excitement has been riding high with a Wednesday midday event with station WIOV in Pennsylvaniaattracting more than 250 people.  The previous evening, a show with WBEE in RochesterNY, set a new attendance record for the station, with some fans traveling from as far away as MadisonWI. 

WBEE PD Billy Kidd declared, “Danny Gokey is ALREADY a star.  Listeners already know him, his story, and his amazing, upbeat attitude on life.  His fans connected with him in a big way here in Rochester when close to 500 people packed a club on a cold and snowy Tuesday night.”

  1. There's something 'about'that Danny Gokey guy - he is one of a rare breed of singers that can sing any genre and make it his own! Also his live perfomances are superb, so I am led to believe :) I live in the UK and can't wait for Danny to visit.
    As Billy Kidd says "his fans connected with him"- that's the mark of a huge star in the making!! :)
