Star-Packed Opry Shows in March Include Performances by
Trace AdkinsCharlie Daniels Band, Montgomery Gentry, and more

A Grand Ole Comedy Revue Also Set for Spring Return

NASHVILLETenn. - (Feb. 24, 2010) -  The Grand Ole Opry® presented by Humana® kicks off the Tuesday Night Opry again on Tues, March 2.  Scheduled to appear during the first Tuesday Night Opry of the year are Del McCoury Band, Aaron Tippin, and Chris Young, among others.

Among those slated for Opry appearances later in March are Montgomery Gentry, Chuck Wicks (March 5); Sammy Kershaw, Del McCoury Band, Ralph Stanley (March 6); Joe Diffie, Danny Gokey, David Nail; Steel Magnolia (March 13); Terri Clark, Lee Greenwood, Justin Moore, Nashville Irish Stepdancers (March 16); Trace Adkins, Easton Corbin (March 20); John Anderson, Charlie Daniels Band (March 27); Eric Church (March 30).

American Idol alum Danny Gokey will be signing copies of his newly released CD, My Best Days, in The Opry Shop on Saturday, March 13 from 5:30 – 6:30pm.  And on Saturday, March 20, Mercury Records’ Easton Corbin will be signing copies of his debut release, Easton Corbin, from 5:30 – 6:30pm.

Opry Country Classics will return for its sophomore season On Thurs., March 25 featuring the classic songs that have defined country music for generations of fans. This year the show will emanate from the historic Ryman Auditorium.

Also set to return for a second year is Pickin’ & Grinnin’ With Mike Snider: A Grand Ole Comedy Revue. Opry member and HEE HAW alum Snider is the centerpiece of the down-home music and comedy show which takes place in Studio A of the Opry House. The Pickin’ & Grinnin’ fun is set to begin again on Fri., April 2, running Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month and returning for a second run this summer.
