Music Video Debuts at #3 on GAC’s Fan-Voted Top 20 Country Countdown

Nashville, TN – As 19 Recordings/RCA Nashville recording artist Danny Gokey heads toward the March 2 release of his debut album, My Best Days, the fan excitement over Danny and his music continues to be high.  In its first chart week, Danny’s music video for his single, “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me,” made an impressive debut on GAC’s weekly fan-voted Top 20 Country Countdown, earning a #3 chart berth in the episode that premiered Friday night.

The video captures all the upbeat musical energy of the single, which Music Row declared as “catchy as all get out,” while the new issue of Billboardcheers “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me” as “so far the feel-good country song of 2010, with its soaring melody, singalong chorus and positive message.”

Danny brought that feel-good vibe to Dallas radio’s KSCS last week, where a morning on-air visit with the station’s Dorsey Gang preceded his performance for a group of lucky winners at the station.

Fans can keep up with Danny’s appearance schedule online at dannygokey.com, where they can also pre-order My Best Days.  The exclusive pre-order will include the CD, an instant download of “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me,” and an autographed CD booklet (while supplies last).
