CARRIE UNDERWOOD’S GUEST STAR APPEARANCE ON
CBS’S HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER TO AIR MARCH 1
NASHVILLE – (February 24, 2010) – Carrie Underwood’s appearance in a special one-off guest star role on the CBS Emmy-nominated show How I Met Your Mother will air on Monday, March 1. Underwood will appear as a new character, Tiffany, an enigmatic pharmaceutical sales rep and love interest for Ted, played by Josh Radnor. How I Met Your Mother airs on CBS Television, Mondays, 8:00-8:30pm ET / PT.
How I Met Your Mother is a comedy about Ted and how he fell in love. It all started when Ted's best friend, Marshall, dropped the bombshell that he was going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realized that he had better get a move on if he too hopes to find true love. Helping him in his quest is Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he's sure it's love at first sight, but destiny has something else in store. The series is narrated through flashbacks from the future and stars Josh Radnor (Ted), Jason Segel (Marshall ), Alyson Hannigan (Lily), Neil Patrick Harris (Barney) and Cobie Smulders (Robin). How I Met Your Mother is executively produced by Carter Bays , Craig Thomas, Pamela Fryman and Chris Harris.
