Tim is on the Today show this Friday.....  and    NASHVILLE – October 19, 2009 – Tim McGraw returns to the stage performing his biggest hits as well as music from his latest album, Southern Voice, whenINVITATION ONLY: TIM McGRAW premieres Friday, November 13 at 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT.  Taped earlier this year in Nashville, INVITATION ONLY: TIM McGRAW features McGraw performing before a small studio audience, taking questions from fans and giving revealing and candid answers.
In this one-hour special, McGraw delivers a high-energy performance singing fan favorites, including “Something Like That,” “My Best Friend,” and ”Cowboy In Me,” as well as new songs “Southern Voice” and “You Had To Be There.”  During an informal question and answer segment with the audience, McGraw discusses his acting career and also touches on the three big “loves” of his life – family, football and touring.
McGraw has sold over 40 million units and dominated the charts with 30 #1 singles in his career. He’s won three GRAMMY®s, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards, 10 American Music Awards, three People’s Choice Awards and numerous other awards.  The songs on McGraw’s latest album, Southern Voice, recorded with his longtime producer, Byron Gallimore (Faith Hill, Sugarland), represent a new level of depth and intensity for McGraw; they tell unforgettable stories of lives lived and lessons learned, and reveal a man staring down what it means to be a father, a husband. Plans are currently being finalized for a major Tim McGraw tour, which will kick off in February 2010.
