Buddy Jewell Helping St Jude

(Nashville, Tennessee...) -- October 26, 2009 -- Country star Buddy Jewell, whose new single, "Somebody Who Would Die For You," is receiving airplay across the country, has again teamed up with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to produce The 2010 Fans of Buddy Jewell Calendar. The twist on this unique keepsake is the months of the year will be filled with photos of Buddy in concert and with his fans during meet & greets, and all of the photos will be submitted by his fans. The finished calendar will be sold through Café Press, and net proceeds will benefit St. Jude.
"We have all been touched somehow by cancer either through a loved one, a friend or even a child," said Buddy. "My fans know how close St. Jude is to heart, and having money go the hospital is the best Christmas gift anyone could give me."
Fans interested in having their photos considered for inclusion in the finished calendar must submit no more than five (5) photos in digital format scanned at least 300 dpi resolution to calendar@buddyjewell.com. There is a limit one (1) meet & greet photo per submission. There is no cost to submit pictures, and not all photos are required to be included in the final product.
In addition, fans can have birth dates included in the appropriate Month for a donation of $5.00 per birthday listing. All relevant information must be emailed to birthdays@buddyjewell.com. After submitting birth date(s), the address to send a check or money order made out to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be sent in a reply email.
The deadline for submitting photos and birth date information is Saturday, November 14, 2009, and no exceptions will be allowed.
Calendars will be completed by early December in time for ordering as Christmas gifts. At the time of completion, Buddy Jewell's fan club will provide a link to order this wonderful gift. Once orders are placed the calendar will be shipped directly from Café Press.
