Taylor Swift’s new music video for her current single “Fifteen” will world premiere next weekend on CMT as part of a multi-platform roll-out. The clip, directed by Roman White, will debut as part of a 90-minute TV special spotlighting 15 of Taylor’s music videos and live performances including CMT's Studio 330 Sessions and Crossroads. The special, CMT Fifteen Swiftly-Made Videos, will ‘count-up’ to the world premiere of her “Fifteen” video. In addition, CMT, CMT Pure, CMT.com and CMT Mobile will feature a 15-minute special, Taylor Swift - Fifteen, airing for two weeks, beginning next weekend, that will also feature the “Fifteen” music video with exclusive interview footage from Taylor. Look for CMT Fifteen Swiftly-Made Videos to premiere October 9th at 8:00 am Eastern and Taylor Swift - Fifteen to premiere the same day at 1:30 pm Eastern. The music video—as well as the 15-minute special—will premiere first thing that same morning on CMT.com.
This from Billboard’s Wade Jessen: “Taylor Swift crosses another important threshold on our retail charts, as “Taylor Swift” (Big Machine) surpasses the 151-week chart life of Shania Twain's "Come On Over" on The Billboard 200 dated October 3. With 152 total chart weeks, Swift’s self-titled debut set is the longest-charting album by a country female in the entire Nielsen SoundScan era (since May 1991).Additionally, since the album is eligible to remain on The Billboard 200 until it dips below No. 100, it appears that it is a lock to pass Nickelback's "All the Right Reasons" (156 weeks) as the longest-charting album of the current decade. Four more weeks on the chart for "Taylor Swift" will tie the two sets, and five more will place Swift at the head of the century's class. Twain’s landmark “Come On Over” logged its 151st chart week in the Bill- board issue dated October 7, 2000.”
