LUKE BRYAN PERFORMS FOR HOMETOWN CROWD


Nashville (October 8, 2009) – Capitol Records Nashville artist Luke Bryan overfilled the Leesburg High School football field Tuesday night for an exclusive concert which was won by his hometown through an online contest with www.eventful.com. The stadium’s capacity of 3,500 overflowed as over 4,000 fans poured out onto the football field to hear songs from Bryan’s album, Doin’ My Thing, released on Tuesday.

An excited Bryan exclaimed from the stage, “Sorry I am keeping your kids up late on a school night but you’re the ones who voted for us to be here!”

On Monday this week, Bryan played his first-ever Farm Tour show in StatesboroGeorgia as part of his album promotional tour which runs through October 14. He will be visiting local radio stations, greeting fans and performing concerts in each city.

After wrapping his album launch, Bryan will prepare for his first headline tour, “Doin’ My Thing Tour,” on October 30 in JacksonvilleFlorida.
