LUKE BRYAN ONLY COUNTRY ARTIST FEATURED IN RHAPSODY ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN PROMOTING
THEIR NEW IPHONE™ APPLICATION

Campaign Runs In Rolling Stone and Across All MTV Networks
And Other Viacom Properties


Nashville, TN – October 1, 2009 – Rhapsody® has chosen Luke Bryan as the only country artist featured in their new advertising campaign promoting their new Rhapsody application for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch®. Bryan’s new album cover (Doin’ My Thing - releasing October 6) is featured along with album covers by Basement Jaxx, Black Eyed Peas, Colbie Callait and Shakira. A commercial highlighting the app on the iPhone will air across MTV Networks for four weeks, including CMT, MTV, VH1, Spike TV, Comedy Central, and other Viacom properties. An accompanying print ad is also scheduled to run in Rolling Stone magazine during the same time. The advertising campaign is specifically promoting the new Rhapsody for the iPhone and iPod Touch, an application that has quickly become one of the top free music apps available in the App Store on the iPhone since the launch in mid September.

The Rhapsody application gives iPhone and iPod Touch owners access to more than eight million tracks immediately whenever they connect over a 3G, Edge or WiFi network. Finding a favorite artist, album or track is easy thanks to the touchscreen keyboard, allowing users to quickly find the music they want to enjoy. While on the go, users can create playlists, add new tracks to their music library, and even purchase MP3s directly from their device. 

Luke Bryan recently celebrated a #1 video for “Do I” the lead smash single off Doin’ My ThingBryan had a career making 2008 with two top ten hits (“All My Friends Say” and “Country Man”), two major award nominations including the CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year nomination and his first nomination from the Academy of Country Music for “Best New Male Artist.” He was also chosen as Billboard’s 2007 country artist to watch and landing on “Best of 2007” lists for: Chicago TribuneAtlanta Journal ConstitutionClear Channel Online Music & Radio to name a few. Bryan has been part of three major tours before this year's Miller Lite tour with some of country music’s biggest artists in 2008 - Kenny Chesney’s “Poets & Pirates” stadium dates, Trace Adkins’ “American Man” tour and Dierks Bentley’s “Throttle Wide Open” tour.
