NEW GARTH BROOKS CONCERTS SOLD OUT LAS VEGAS , February 27, 2009—Tickets for the second series of Garth Brooks concerts at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas have sold out! Tickets for 20 confirmed concert performances went on sale on Saturday, February 27 at 8 a.m. PT and were completely sold out within hours. Unprecedented demand for Garth’s concerts continues to overwhelm as the Wynn Las Vegas Web sites and phones were inundated with traffic for concert tickets this morning. The resort phone lines received more than 75,000 calls and the Web site received more than 2.1 million page views. While  every  effort was made to thwart the activity of scalpers, they persistently besieged our systems with cyber attacks during this ticket sale and our systems were at times slowed.
