Mr. Wilson Explains America

APPEARS ON THE “BOB & TOM SHOW” THURSDAY

November 4, 2009 - Capitol Records Nashville Comedian Tim Wilson is best known for keeping fans in stitches with his southern brand of stand-up and comedy songs - his newest release Mr. Wilson Explains America is no different. The self-produced album, released October 27, contains 21 tracks that Wilson himself solely penned for the project.

"This record is basically me hollering at 20 year olds about what nobody was willing to teach them, explaining America!,” said Tim Wilson. “I feel like a substitute teacher!"

"I finally learned how to make a 4 star comedy record according to the All Music Guide," claims Wilson. "After 26 years, I'm starting to get the hang of this comedy thing."

Wilson has released nine comedy albums on Capitol Nashville, including Hillbilly Homeboy, I Should’ve Married My Father-In-Law, and most recently Super Bad Sounds of the ‘70s.  Some of his most noted topical songs include “First Baptist Bar and Grill,” “The Jeff Gordon Song,” “Chucky Cheese Hell,” and “Booty Man.
