BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST NOMINEES GLORIANA HEADED TO LOS ANGELES FOR THE 2009 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

Gloriana To Take Over The Country Television Airwaves With CMT Studio 330 Session Premiere November 24th And GAC “Introducing: Gloriana” December 2nd


Nashville, TN – Top new country group Gloriana are headed to Los Angeles this weekend for the 2009 American Music Awards (AMAs), where they are up for the T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Award alongside Lady GaGa, Keri Hilson, and Kid Cudi. The AMA’s will air live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22nd (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC.  The T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Award is the only award where fans can text in their votes and continue to vote during the show by going to http://abc.go.com/shows/american-music-awards/breakthrough.
 
Last month Gloriana, who recently released their second single “How Far Do You Wanna Go?” to radio, taped a CMT Studio 330 Session in Nashville as well as a GAC “Introducing” special. The intimate CMT Studio 330 Session performance and interview by the foursome, which will include their hit single “Wild At Heart,” will debut on CMT Tuesday, November 24th. The GAC premiere of “Introducing: Gloriana,” an exclusive 30 minute TV special will premiere on GAC Wednesday, December 2ndat 9pm CST.
 
Gloriana’s debut single “Wild At Heart” is the best selling single by a new country artist in 2009 having sold over 375,000 copies to date. Their self-titled album, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and #3 on Billboard's Top 200, is the best selling debut country album of 2009. “How Far Do You Wanna Go?” has already climbed to #21 on the Music Row chart after only a few weeks. The video captures the foursome’s energy and big sound that have made Gloriana one of the best new artists in country music this year. The video was voted by fans into the Top 20 on GAC, can be seen on CMT, and can be purchased on iTunes.
