CMT TO AIR ONE HOUR “DATELINE: TAYLOR SWIFT”
ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6


NASHVILLE – November 4, 2009 – This weekend’s SNL host and next week’s multiple CMA nominee, Taylor Swift, gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the creation and launch of her 2009 Fearless Tour in the one hour special, DATELINE: TAYLOR SWIFT, premiering on CMT Friday, November 6 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT.
Shot over a period of three months, this hour-long special includes concert and backstage footage from theU.S.United Kingdom and Australia, interviews with Taylor and her band and crew, and exclusive looks at Swift’s tour bus, dressing room, crew meetings, dancer auditions and concert performances.  The special edition of “Dateline,” which aired earlier this year on NBC, also features video diaries, shot by Swift, offering never-before seen access to the life of the country music superstar.
The special will also give fans a preview of what they will see from Taylor’s upcoming 2010 tour.  Taylor, who at 19 is the youngest artist in history to be nominated for the Country Music Association’s prestigious Entertainer of the Year Award, will kick off her FEARLESS 2010 Tour on February 4th in Brisbane, Australia and play seven shows Down Under before beginning her North American run on March 4th in Tampa, Florida. In 2010, Taylor will headline 37 shows in 29 cities in 22 states and provinces in the US and Canada.
The special will also be rebroadcast on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., ET/PT, and Sunday, Nov. 8 at 11:00 p.m., ET/PT.
