MULTI-TALENTED PERFORMER, MUSICIAN, WRITER AND PRODUCER,
HUNTER HAYES FINDS LABEL HOME AT ATLANTIC RECORDS

Nashville, TN – Atlantic Records Nashville announces today the signing of nineteen-year-old performer, multi-instrumentalist (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, drums, bass guitar, keys, and more), producer and songwriter Hunter Hayes. Currently in the studio sharing the producer’s chair with veteran musician and producer Dann Huff (Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban), Hayes’ debut album is set for release in 2011.

The Louisiana native already carries with him an impressive resume that many would only dream of achieving in a lifetime: he performed “Jambalaya” with Hank Williams Jr. in front of 200,000 people at the age of four (now tracking more than 11 million YouTube views), appeared in “The Apostle” with Robert Duvall at the age of six, has played with Johnny and June Cash and Charlie Daniels, co-written songs recorded by Rascal Flatts and Montgomery Gentry, performed for a US President and Congress and he has shared the stage with the likes of Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum and Trace Adkins (to name a few). Hayes moved to Nashville in 2008, where he met Warner Music Nashville’s Senior Vice President of A&R, Scott Hendricks, and was later introduced to the Chairman/CEO of Atlantic Records and music visionary, Craig Kallman.

“It’s a dream come true to join the Atlantic Records family, be in the studio with Dann Huff, and on the road with LeAnn Rimes this fall,” Hayes says excitedly. “I feel so blessed to be surrounded by people who share the same love for music and who support what I do.”

Hayes will begin touring with LeAnn Rimes on her fall acoustic tour starting in October.
