late word from Macon TV station WMAZ:
Atlanta band Drivin' N Cryin's manager says some of the equipment stolen in Macon early Saturday morning has been recovered at Atlanta pawn shops.
Band manager Ken Green says he was able to identify some of the stolen equipment at a pawn shop Saturday afternoon. He says he has gotten calls from a couple of other pawn shops and plans to identify the equipment there on Monday morning. According to Green, one pawn shop owner told him the man pawning the equipment identified himself as a member of the band.
The band was in Macon playing a show at the Hummingbird on Friday night. The band's van and trailer was parked in the LaQuinta Inn parking lot on Arkwright Rd.
The sheriff's office says the trailer was unhitched from the band's van and stolen between 2:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is still asking for the public's help in finding the trailer stolen from the band.
Green says the trailer is a black five-foot-by ten-foot Quicksilver racing trailer. A photograph of the actual trailer is at right.
The sheriff's office said the trailer had the tag number TL9H396.
The trailer had all of the band's belongings, including amps, guitars, merchandise, drums, CDs, and cables, says Green.
The sheriff's office issued this list of items in the trailer:

"We do 150 dates a year. We know what to look for. We know where to park," said Green. "I think someone stood around and watched us load up the trailer, followed us back to the hotel, and waited until the hotel lights were off."
The trailer has band stickers, including ones from Drivin' N Cryin', but no direct identification of the owner.
Green says the band, who has been playing for 25 years, has never had anything like this happen before.
