  Sony Music Nashville Signs 15-Year Old Jordyn Shellhart
                                                   Debut Album In A Room Now Available Exclusively At Best Buy

Jordyn Shellhart, a 15-year old singer/songwriter from Franklin, TN has signed a record deal with Sony Music Nashville.  The young artist first got her start after playing her music for songwriting heavyweights Frank Rogers and Chris Dubois.  She was offered a publishing deal on the spot with Sea Gayle Music, the day after her 14th birthday.
Sony Music Nashville is distributing Jordyn’s first album, In A Room, following a series of summer performances in conjunction with Best Buy’s @15TM initiative to give a voice to teens. After being introduced to Best Buy’s Musical Instrument stores, Jordyn recorded the entire album in a room at her manager's house, using only instruments and sound equipment that are available at Best Buy. 
Jordyn, the straight “A” student and professional songwriter, attends Centennial High School during the day, and writes music after school. The high school sophomore is adamant about graduating before pursuing a full-fledged country music career.  It is her hope to inspire and act as a role model for other teens.
