HEADLINING RYMAN CONCERTS IN MINUTES
Nashville, TN – Jan. 15, 2010 – The Country Music Association’s 2009 “Vocal Group of the Year” Lady Antebellum sold out their headlining Ryman debut on March 11 minutes after going on sale this morning. Shortly thereafter, due to the dizzying demand, the trio announced a second show on March 10, selling out both nights in only 30 minutes.
“We want to thank our fans,” says Lady A’s Hillary Scott. “They are the best fans in the world for giving us the honor of playing the legendary Ryman Auditorium for two straight nights. We feel like we are living in a dream.”
Lady Antebellum recently celebrated the longest chart-topper of 2009 with the lead and title track “Need You Now” off their Jan. 26 release, which spent five consecutive weeks at No. one and was also certified PLATINUM. The group is slated to perform at The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards live on Jan. 31, and are nominated for “Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals” and “Best Country Song” for their No. one hit “I Run To You.”
