I Got Your Country Right Here Hits Stores March 30, 2010
(Nashville, Tennessee...) -- January 15, 2010 -- Singer, songwriter and now record label owner Gretchen Wilson has set March 30, 2010 as the date for the release of her fourth studio album entitled I Got Your Country Right Here. Produced by Gretchen, along with John Rich, of Big & Rich fame, and award-winning producer Blake Chancey, the 11-cut disc will be the first release on her recently-launched Redneck Records.
"This is the album of my career," said Gretchen, whose previous three releases, Here for the Party, All Jacked Up, and One Of The Boys, each debuted at #1 on the country album chart. "This album turns the page for me. I'm proud of every song on here, and I'm excited about the team we've put together to get this music out to the fans."
Gretchen's first smash hit single, "Work Hard, Play Harder," from the new album is receiving very strong airplay across the country. The corresponding music video is currently in rotation at CMT, GAC and a host of other regional and local video shows and video pools.  The "Work Hard, Play Harder" music video can be viewed by clicking:http://www.gretchenwilson.com/playharder
Fans can catch Gretchen singing the National Anthem and performing a set during the halftime festivities at the AFC Divisional playoff game between the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens this Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 8:15 p.m. Eastern. The game and performance will be carried on the CBS Television Network and on Country 97.1 HANK FM in Indianapolis.
A multi-platinum recording artist, Gretchen exploded onto the country music scene in 2004 with her smash hit "Redneck Woman." She has won virtually every award for which she's been nominated, including Female Vocalist of the Year from both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music and a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance.  Her first book, the autobiographical "Redneck Woman: Stories from My Life," landed her on the prestigious New York Times Best Seller List.
For Gretchen, the issue of adult education is very personal. In 2008, at the age of 34, she received her G.E.D. She has since become an advocate to help spotlight the funding needs of adult education programs and the adults on waiting lists hoping to further their education. She spoke to a Congressional subcommittee early last spring about the need for continued funding, and in September she was presented a 2009 National Coalition for Literacy Leadership Award at a reception at the Library of Congress. Following Gretchen's touching acceptance speech, Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) was brought to the stage to deliver a statement she had prepared and read that morning in front of the 110th Congress honoring the accomplishments of Gretchen Wilson as a mother, recording artist and a leader in the advancement of adult education and literacy.

I've always been a believer in the strength of the song. My problem is I'm a country singer who's had a lot of other musical influences, so my stuff is going to tend to be more AC. That's always been my slam in country music, that I was never a true country artist, even though &q

They call her..The Bare Naked Bandit..29 yr Old Lee Grace Doherty

ARRESTED now in Colorado...but what a story and week for 2 brothers and their stripper sister! Text messages and tweets by three fugitive siblings who shot at a police officer and robbed a bank reveal a dangerous mindset and a firm bond between the siblings, "We've certainly seen their mindset when... They shot at a law enforcement officer outside of Tampa Bay, Fla., and when they fired inside that bank in Valdosta, Ga. But these additional texts and tweets have given us additional insight," FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett told "Good Morning America" today. " We are concerned and feel that they are going to continue and cause problems to say the least for law enforcement." Ryan Dougherty, 21; his sister Lee Grace E. Dougherty, 29; and half-brother Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, have been on the lam since Aug. 2 when they shot at a police officer attempting to pull their white Subaru Impreza over for speeding. A few hours later, they robbed a bank in G
