RASCAL FLATTS TOUR TO RE-LAUNCH THIS WEEKEND

“RASCAL FLATTS AMERICAN LIVING UNSTOPPABLE TOUR”

NASHVILLE – (January 12, 2010) – Five-Time American Music Award Group of the Year winners and the most awarded group in country music today, RASCAL FLATTS, will kick-off the final leg of their “Rascal Flatts American Living Unstoppable Tour,” sponsored by JCPenney with associate sponsor Hershey’s. The tour will begin with two shows in UncasvilleConnecticut at the Mohegan Sun Arena this weekend with shows continuing through March 10. Darius Rucker will continue as opening act.

The first leg of the “Rascal Flatts American Living Unstoppable Tour” sold 550,000 tickets in 39 shows since it began in June 2009. This total also includes the two sold-out stadium concerts at Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Columbus’ Crew Stadium. The band’s 2009 tours have sold over a million concert tickets, bringing their 4 year total to just over 4 million tickets sold.

RASCAL FLATTS’ Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney are kicking off 2010 with a bang as they mark not only the beginning of a new decade but also celebrate ten years of making great music together, becoming one of the hottest touring acts and the top country group of the new millennium. The band has delivered 11 #1 singles to the top of the chart and have more titles in Billboard’s Top 100 Songs of the Decade than any other group in the format.
