Impending Weather Concerns Cause the Arist of the Decade to
Change Knoxville and Charlottesville Dates

(Nashville, TN) January 28, 2010 – George Strait has always credited  his fans for his career successes and it comes as no surprise he would also  think of them when making career decisions – especially when it comes to their safety.

Strait’s shows with Reba and Special Guest Lee Ann Womack this weekend are being rescheduled due to forecasts of inclement weather of snow and
ice.  Friday Night’s show in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Thompson Boling Arena has
been rescheduled for April 2nd and Saturday night’s show in Charlottesville,VA at the JPJ Arena has been rescheduled for April 3rd.

"Due to our concern for the safety of our fans and crew, we are rescheduling shows this weekend," says Strait. "We regret the change but it's
best to take all the necessary precautions."

Forecasters in Knoxville are predicting 6 or more inches of snow on  top of a freezing rain, While meteorologists in Charlottesville are
anticipating the possibility of double that amount.
