JAKE OWEN ROCKS TO SELL-OUT CROWDS
Country Star Sells Out Venues Across Home State

Nashville, TN – (January 26, 2010) RCA Nashville recording artist Jake Owen hit the road last weekend in his home state of Florida and played to unprecedented crowds in sold-out venues.

Owen kicked-off the weekend in Tampa, FL at the Dallas Bull where his hotly anticipated show sold-out before the doors opened – a first for the venue. He then made the jaunt to the Manatee Co. Fair in Palmetto, FL where fair sources say he played to a “record crowd.” Owen finished the weekend at the famous Floyd’s Music Store in Tallahassee, FL. He rocked the crowd at his old college stomping grounds with a rousing set, including his current hit “Eight Second Ride.”

The country rocker also continues his partnership with Championship Bull Riding (CBR). He will perform after the latest CBR event in Chicago, IL on February 5th.

In March Owen heads to Washington, DC, where he has been invited to perform at the National Association of Broadcasters leadership dinner, courtesy of BMI. The dinner also plays host to keynote speaker David Gregory of NBC News’ “Meet The Press.”

Earlier this month, Owen also earned his second-consecutive top-10 single from his current album Easy Does It, as “Eight Second Ride” blasted up the country singles charts.

Since releasing his debut album, Startin' With Me, RCA Nashville recording artist Jake Owen has celebrated five consecutive hit singles including Top 15 debut single, “Yee Haw,” the Top 10 “Startin’ With Me,” the Top 15 “Something About A Woman,” and his Top 5 “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You.” In the last two years, Owen made his national TV debut on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and has toured non-stop with the biggest names in Country Music including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and Sugarland.  Jake has received nominations for Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, a GRAMMY Award, and was named “Top New Male Vocalist” at the Academy of Country Music Awards this past April. His sophomore album, Easy Does It, hit stores on February 24, 2009.
