Orlando, Fla., June 19, 2009 – Hard Rock International is bringing its worldwide Ambassadors of Rock Tour to New York! Kenny Chesney, the four-consecutive Academy of Country Music® and four-time and reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, will perform at Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square on Tuesday, September 15th, as part of Hard Rock’s 2009 Ambassadors of Rock Tour, a global concert series featuring top artists and bands.
Known for his high energy performance, Chesney is currently out on his Sun City Carnival Tour – which will see the biggest North American ticket seller this century in any genre play a dozen stadiums. With his Greatest Hits II marking his 9th #1 Country Album debut, Chesney collects the songs that have come to be the soundtrack of a generation coming of age right now: “When The Sun Goes Down,” “Summertime,” “Living In Fast Forward,” “Anything But Mine,” “The Good Stuff,” “Beer In Mexico,” “I Go Back,” and his current #1 “Out Last Night.” Having been deemed “Entertainer of the People” by The Los Angeles Times, Chesney’s Hard Rock Ambassadors of Rock Performance will be a more intimate performance, reflective of the man beyond the million-ticket-selling phenomenon.
