DALLAS — Chancellor Jay Hutcheson, the Plano teen who was wanted in connection with the brutal attack of another young man in the parking lot of a Dallas concert venue, turned himself in to Dallas police on Monday.
Police issued an aggravated assault warrant aginst Hutcheson last week after investigating the June 14 incident outside Superpages.com Center that left 20-year-old Jeffrey "Jake" Fleming in critical condition.
Police said Hutcheson, 18, posted bond after surrendering at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center and was released at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Fleming, who attends UCLA and is a member of the school's tennis squad, remained hospitalized on Monday. Police said the Newport Beach, Calif. resident had been punched in the face with a closed fist and struck his head on the pavement as he fell.
