Big Shot fired in the Rimes/Cibrian story: THE WIFE SPEAKS

From NY Daily News: It has been two months since Eddie Cibrian cut ties with LeAnn Rimes – his Lifetime movie costar (and one-time fling) – but it seems the country singer isn’t willing to let her former flame go.

Cibrian’s wife, model Brandi Glanville, tells Us Weekly that Rimes is obsessed with her husband and won’t leave him alone.

"LeAnn is a stalker," said Glanville. "She refuses to leave us alone -- it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance."

Cibrian, 35, and Rimes reportedly began an affair while filming the TV movie "Northern Lights," but ended the relationship in March after being exposed by a report in Us Weekly.

Glanville claims that Rimes, 26, sought out Cibrian at a L.A. Lakers game on May 17, despite the fact that the married actor changed his phone number two weeks prior to stop the singer's “constant texting and calling.”

According to Glanville, Rimes' motive for her "disgusting" behavior is a ploy to reignite her dwindling career in order to get back in the media spotlight.

"She's hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom."

A rep for Rimes did not comment.
