LUKE BRYAN TO RELEASE “SPRING BREAK 3…IT’S A SHORE THING” EP MARCH 1

3rd Annual Spring Break Shows Set for March 8 & 9
At Spinnaker’s Beach Club in Panama CityFL

NASHVILLETN – January 25, 2011 – Capitol Records Nashville recording artist and ACM Top New Artist Luke Bryan will release his third Spring Break themed EP – “Spring Break 3…It’s A Shore Thing,” on March 1, 2011. The 4 song EP, all co-written by Bryan, features the original and never-before-released songs “If You Ain’t Here To Party,” “Faded Away,” “Love In A College Town,” and the title track “It’s A Shore Thing.” Bryan released his first “Spring Break With All My Friends” EP in 2009 followed by last year’s “Spring Break 2…Hangover Edition.”

“Are you kidding me? This is one of my favorite times of the year,” exclaimed Bryan. “I get to let loose, write new songs that are a little out of the box, play on the beach for 2 days and have fun with the fans during one of the best times of their lives!”

Bryan’s 2010 Spring Break tour was such a “Wild Weekend” - (one of the three self-penned songs on his second Spring Break EP “Spring Break 2…Hangover Edition.”) that the Georgia native couldn’t wait to get to work on this year’s release. This year Bryan will perform March 8th and 9th at Spinnaker’s Beach Club in Panama CityFL.

Each of Bryan’s past Spring Break EPs (“Spring Break With All My Friends” and “Spring Break 2 … Hangover Edition”) can be found online at digital retailers.

Luke Bryan, the 2010 ACM Top New Artist, released his sophomore album, Doin’ My Thing, on Capitol Records Nashville in October 2009, debuting at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. The Gold® certified album includes his #1 singles “Do I” and “Rain Is A Good Thing” as well as his currently rising Top 5 single “Someone Else Calling You Baby.”  Bryan hit the road earlier this month opening for Rascal Flatts on their “Nothing Like This,” tour and later this spring he’ll open for Tim McGraw’s “Emotional Traffic” tour.
