CRAIG MORGAN TO MAKE NINTH OVERSEAS VISIT TO ENTERTAIN U.S. TROOPS

Morgan to embark on the NOT ALONE TOUR  throughout Iraq and Kuwait January 27 – February 3

Nashville, TN…(January 18, 2011)…Country Music superstar and celebrated TV host, Craig Morgan, is preparing to make his ninth visit to entertain U.S. troops stationed overseas, as part of the Stars For Stripes tour. Morgan will embark on the “NOT ALONE” tour, performing for service members stationed in Iraq and Kuwait, from January 27 through February 3.

"In addition to showing our support for the service men and women deployed, I find a growing sense of pride in the good our country does while on these visits,” shared Morgan. “We are not just fighting a war and helping people gain democracy and human rights in their own country, but our military is over there building hospitals and schools...modern structures and plumbing that didn't exist before 9/11."

In 2003 Morgan made his first overseas visit to entertain our U.S. troops. This will mark his ninth tour since 9/11. He is taking his full band, promising our servicemen and women an energetic, high-octane show. Not only will Morgan perform 5 concerts at 5 camps throughout Iraq and Kuwait, he will also offer special acoustic sets at various remote FOBs (Forward Operating Base) for troops who seldom receive celebrity entertainment.

In addition to encouraging our troops overseas, Morgan is offering support to returning troops as a spokesperson for Not Alone, an organization that empowers and assists soldiers and their families who are dealing with the after-effects of combat as they transition back to life at home. Morgan wrote the song “Not Alone” in support of the organization, and it will also be included on his upcoming sixth studio album.
