LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON THIS FRIDAY

New York, NY (January 25, 2011) – It was the city of Los Angeles that played an intricate part in catapulting Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers into stardom.  In 1979, while sitting in a grueling LA traffic jam on Highland Avenue, Larry Gatlin was inspired to write the biggest hit of the band's illustrious career, "All The Gold In California."

This weekend, Larry, Rudy and Steve Gatlin are back in Los Angeles, California and yes, they’re still singing about gold. Tune in to the CBS Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson this Friday night (January 28) and catch country music’s GRAMMY Award-winning harmonic siblings perform “Black Gold,” the latest single from the Gatlin Brothers’ critically acclaimed new album, Pilgrimage (Curb Records).

During the 1970s and 1980s, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers became one of country music’s most popular acts, introducing a new ‘countrypolitan’ sound to the genre. Larry Gatlin has a total of 33 Top 40 singles under his belt, including both his solo recordings and those with his brothers. The band’s biggest hits include, “Broken Lady,” “All the Gold In California,” “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer to You),” “She Used to Be Somebody’s Baby,” and “Talkin’ to the Moon.”
