Whisperin' Bill Anderson will be headlining the 7th Annual Roger Miller Music & Arts Festival
concert on Saturday, October 24th, in Miller's hometown of Erick, Oklahoma. Roger's son,
Dean Miller, will open for Anderson and show time is set for 7:00pm/cst in the Clifford Macklin
Auditorium. Tickets are $20. All proceeds will benefit the Roger Miller Museum.
"Roger and I were friends long before either one of us ever moved to Nashville," notes
Anderson. "He opened a lot of doors for me and I've never forgotten it."
"I am truly honored that Mary and Dean have invited me to be a part of this year's celebration,"
the Country Music Hall of Famer says, "And I promise to tell some Roger stories that even
they have never heard!"
The Festival kicks-off on Friday night with a street dance, along with numerous craft & art booths,
food booths, and contests that are all free to the public, plus a bull riding challenge on Saturday
afternoon.
