But the best laid plans sometimes go awry, and mechanical difficulties in Seattle left Chris grounded for an hour-and-a-half, delaying him long enough to miss his Denver connection and find nothing available in the Mile High City that would get him to Murfreesboro and his hometown fans for his 6 PM appearance.
