Kenny Chesney, Bon Jovi and the The Dave Matthews Band top the list of performers confirmed for a new multi-day outdoor festival set for next July at Churchill Downs, legendary home of the Kentucky Derby.The HullabaLOU Music Festival will feature more than 65 bands spread across three days (July 23-25) at the Louisville, KY, racetrack.
Performers representing "classic rock, country, adult contemporary and Bluegrass" will perform on five stages during the event, which is "designed to be an annual event," according to organizers.
Other acts and performers scheduled to appear include Jason Aldean, Colbie Caillat, Loretta Lynn, The Black Crowes, Gov't Mule, Joan Osborne, Michael McDonald, Dwight Yoakam and many others. A complete listing of confirmed talent can be found at the event's website.
"The performers scheduled to appear at HullabaLOU will instantly put the event on the map of major music festivals in the country, and be one of the top festival entertainment options in 2010," said consulting producer Quint Davis, who also serves as producer and director of the New Orleans Jazz Fest.
Ticket prices will range from $60 for a one-day general admission pass to $975 for a three-day VIP admission, according to a press release. Tickets go on sale Dec. 4 at noon local time.
