The pictures from the accident scene look horrible...According to eye witnesses, country music singer David Allan Coe, 73, driving a Chevy Suburban, ran a red light heading east on SR40 at the intersection of North Pine and SR40 early Tuesday morning about 1:30 a.m. A Peterbilt semi truck, hauling corn and radishes, struck Coe's vehicle causing the semi truck to overturn in the intersection and both vehicles came to rest in the parking lot of the State Attorney's Office in Ocala, FL. Coe was transported to ORMC.
The truck driver is listed in serious condition..Coe's manager says he is "alright"
