A Salute to the Shuttle Workers at Kennedy Space Center

This historic picture shows 2100 employees of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida shuffling into position as they quickly and efficiently ‘assemble’ a to-scale replica of the space shuttle with their own bodies.
A spokesman from the space center said: ‘It was planned to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the shuttle and the whole event was open to all Kennedy Center employees.
