COLUMBIA NASHVILLE’S BRADLEY GASKIN POURS UP IMPRESSIVE DEBUT WITH “MR. BARTENDER”

NASHVILLETN – Before Bradley Gaskin took the stage on the Sony Music Nashville Boat Show last week during the annual Country Radio Seminar, few people in the room had ever even heard his name. Armed with only his guitar, Gaskin performed one song, his self-penned “Mr. Bartender,” and less than four minutes later, the crowd was on its feet and Bradley Gaskin was on the fast track, literally. There wasn’t a single scheduled to go to radio until May, he has no website, no photo shoot has been done. There’s only the music.

A resident of Duck SpringsAL, it wasn’t long ago that Gaskin was hanging drywall, and he would spend his lunch break writing songs on pieces of Sheetrock paper. At the urging of his wife, Gaskin uploaded some of his songs to MySpace where they were heard that week by country singer and Celebrity Apprentice contestant John Rich’s development company. Gaskin was invited to perform at the “Get Rich Talent Search,” and he won the competition! Rich brought Gaskin to Sony’s Columbia Nashville, where he signed a record deal earlier this year.

“Mr. Bartender,” the debut single from Bradley Gaskin, is getting immediate reaction. “We played ‘Mr. Bartender’ on the air this morning, and the phones blew up! This man’s life is about to change in a big way,” said the hosts of the nationally syndicated radio show “Tony & Kris In The Morning.” Those comments are being echoed throughout radio after his performance last week. “Bradley has the true country spirit in him,” said Tim Roberts of WYCD, and country consultant Joel Raab declared, “This guy can sing!  A true country voice like this doesn't come along very often.  He could be a huge star!”

With a strong baritone, Gaskin crafts his own brand of new classic country, distilled through his honky-tonk heroes like Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard, and George Jones, to name a few. Of “Mr. Bartender,” Tanya Burko of WGGY said, “When Bradley first started playing this song, I thought, ‘A classic I'm not familiar with... shame on me.’ No doubt in my mind, this song will likely become a classic.”

“Mr. Bartender,” the self-penned, debut single from Columbia Nashville’s Bradley Gaskin, goes for airplay immediately.

Text messages and tweets by three fugitive siblings who shot at a police officer and robbed a bank reveal a dangerous mindset and a firm bond between the siblings, "We've certainly seen their mindset when... They shot at a law enforcement officer outside of Tampa Bay, Fla., and when they fired inside that bank in Valdosta, Ga. But these additional texts and tweets have given us additional insight," FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett told "Good Morning America" today. " We are concerned and feel that they are going to continue and cause problems to say the least for law enforcement." Ryan Dougherty, 21; his sister Lee Grace E.
