NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (March 29, 2011) – Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood ,Martina McBride , The Oak Ridge Boys, and Jerrod Niemann will all be on stage Tues., June 7, as the Grand Ole Opry ® kicks off its CMA Music Fest Week with two star-packed Opry shows.
The popular annual Opry Plaza Party presented by Humana® will also return to theOpry Plaza that afternoon and evening with a free performance by country newcomer Niemann. The 2010 CMA Best New Artist nominee’s current single is “What Do You Want,” the hit follow-up to his No. 1 smash “Lover, Lover.” Niemann was writer on 10 of the 12 songs on his acclaimed album Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury, one of TheNew York Times ’ Top 10 Albums of 2010.
