2011 JÄGERMEISTER COUNTRY TOUR With Dierks Bentley, Josh Thompson and Miss Willie Brown Continues To Trek Across The Country
NASHVILLE, TN. – March 24, 2011 – Columbia Nashville’s Josh Thompson is making a slight detour on the JÄGERMEISTER COUNTRY TOUR for a couple of national TV appearances next week. Thompson will stop byFox & Friends on Monday, March 28 to perform his current single and break-up anthem “Won’t Be Lonely Long.” He’ll also swing by Better TV for a performance and interview, set to air on Monday, April 4.
“Being on the Jager tour, we don’t really have a lot of early morning wake-up calls…so, I’ll need to prepare myself for that,” laughs Thompson. “We’re having a blast on the road. I’ve been touring so much over the past couple of years, it’s definitely become my second home, but there is no place else I’d rather be right now. The fans are awesome and the Jager isn’t so bad either.”
Thompson kicked off the 2011 JÄGERMEISTER COUNTRY TOUR with Dierks Bentley on March 17. The 30-city tour will make stops in Poughkeepsie, NY, Reading, PA and Westbury, NY this weekend, and features new duo Miss Willie Brown. When he’s not on the road, Thompson is in the studio working on the follow up to his debut album WAY OUT HERE. In addition to writing songs for the upcoming album, he has also enjoyed recent cuts by Brad Paisley (“A Man Don’t Have To Die”/THIS IS COUNTRY MUSIC) and Jason Aldean (“Church Pew Or Bar Stool”/MY KINDA PARTY).
