FONTANEL MANSION AGAIN PARTNERS WITH CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL
2011 CMA Music Festival Attendees to Receive Exclusive Tickets and Discount
Nashville, Tennessee) - March 18, 2011 - The Fontanel Mansion and Farm, Nashville's newest must-see destination, is again partnering with the Country Music Association to offer 2011 CMA Music Festival attendees an exclusive discount to tour the mansion and a discounted ticket for the new Music City On Stage! "dinnertainment" show between June 6 and 13, 2011. In addition, kids 11 and under eat free with a paying adult* at the Farm House Restaurant at Fontanel, and free shuttles are available every 30 minutes from the downtown Nashville visitors center in front of the Bridgestone Arena at the top and bottom of the hour beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Originally built by Country Music Hall of Famer Barbara Mandrell and her husband Ken Dudney, the 27,000 square foot log mansion is the only former home of a country music star open to the public for guided tours.

"This was a very successful promotion when we opened last year," said Fontanel co-owner Marc Oswald. "This property is a part of Country Music history, and guests really feel connected to that when they visit."

Additionally, Fontanel will donate $1 from the sale of each CMA Music Festival attendee's mansion tour ticket to the CMA's Keep the Music Playing charity, benefiting music programs in Metro Nashville Public Schools. 

 
The $5.00 discount lowers Mansion tours to $16.00 for an adult, $14.00 for Active Military and Educators, $13.00 for seniors (60+) and $6.00 for Youth ages 6-15. Children under six, with paying adult, are always free. Tickets are limited and are being offered to CMA Music Festival attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Every Thursday evening, guests are treated to an intimate dinner and a magnificent multi-media production from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Featuring some of Music City's most talented up-and-comers, Music City On Stage! is packed with a wide range of hits and styles, showcasing why Nashville really is Music City! Each ticket purchase includes entry to the show, a delicious home-cooked meal with a choice of three entrees and a voucher to return and tour the amazing Fontanel Mansion.
 

Fans arriving early for the CMA Music Festival won't want to miss Willie Nelson's Country Throw Down Tour 2011 on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the beautiful new The Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel. Headlined by Willie himself, the concert will also feature Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Brantley Gilbert, Craig Campbell, Lee Brice, and Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 12, 2011 throughTicketmaster or at the Stone House Gift Shop at Fontanel.

 

Farm House Restaurant logoThe Farm House Restaurant at Fontanel showcases a "farm to fork" menu with items that feature local produce, dairy and meats delivered from area farms and sustainable sources. Offering southern-style comfort food with a fun creative twist, the Farm House has already received rave reviews in print and on television. The Farm House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The delicious menu can be viewed here. Guests are encouraged to bring their own wine to the Farm House Restaurant, and there is never a corkage fee.

 

Trails logoIn addition to Mansion tours, family friendly activities will take place the entire week of the CMA Music Festival such as arts & crafts, local folk artists, exhibits at the Walden's Puddle Wildlife Education Center at Fontanel, live music and more. Guests are encouraged to grab a box lunch from the Farm House Restaurant or bring a picnic lunch and enjoy free hiking on the two-mile Trails at Fontanel or escape the summer sun in the clean, clear water of Whites Creek, and a free Frisbee will be offered with CMA pass.
