Nashville, TN (February 7, 2011) – Capitol Nashville’s newest singer/songwriter, Walker Hayes, is eager to usher out this year’s brutal winter with his new single “Why Wait For Summer.” The single ships to radio today and will go for official radio adds on 2/21.

Hayes, one of “Country Weekly’s Ones to Watch” in 2011, co-wrote the song with Fred Wilhelm. “Why Wait For Summer” is a fun uptempo song about wanting to grab your special sweetheart and head in search of summer.
