EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Kenny Chesney’s "Goin’ Coastal Tour" will arrive in the New York area August  13, 2011 as part of Chesney's biggest tour in five years. Tickets for the newly added show by the country megastar, whose 'Hemingway's Whiskey' (BNA  Records) continues to ride high on the Billboard charts, will go on sale December 11th.The New Meadowlands date marks Chesney's first ever stadium show in the New York-New Jersey area. 
Tickets are $142, $104, $74 and $45 (Limited VIP Tickets available). Tickets go on sale Saturday, December 11th at 10:00 AM and can be purchased at  ,  ,  all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster Charge By Phone at 800-745-3000 or and through the New Meadowlands Stadium Box Office (Mon-Fri 9 AM- 5 PM).  
The show will star Chesney, the four-time CMA and four-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, and Zac Brown Band, GRAMMY's "Best New Artist" in 2010 whose latest album 'You Get What You Give' debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with special guests Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker.

The tour is billed as  Corona Extra presents Kenny Chesney’s Goin’ Coastal Tour, starring Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown Band.

The New Meadowlands Stadium, home to the New York Jets and  New York Giants, sets the standard for venue excellence, with state-of-the-art  technology, comfort and amenities. The only active venue to serve as the home  stadium for two NFL teams, the New Meadowlands hosts 20 NFL games per season,  more than any other complex. 

With a full seating capacity of  82,500, the New Meadowlands is the third-largest stadium in the National  Football League, with wider concourses and more HD square footage than any  other in North America. It boasts numerous dining options and a brand new rail  line that drops off passengers directly at the front gates. In 2010, the  Stadium was selected to host Super Bowl XLVIII in  2014.

Additional highlights include four massive 30' X 118' HD  video display boards in each of the stadium corners; a 48" X 1810' ribbon  board that circles the interior bowl; 2100 + HD Monitors throughout the  stadium; and 20 HD video pylons ranging in size from 20' X 40' to 20' X 60'.  Outside the stadium, a 350,000-square-foot outdoor plaza boasts fan-centric  activities and pregame entertainment zones.
