.COLD AIR WILL CONTINUE TO POUR INTO MID TENNESSEE TODAY AND TONIGHT.
AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL CROSS THE REGION WITH SNOW
SHOWERS AND GUSTY WINDS. MOST OF THE MID STATE WILL HAVE 1 TO 2
INCHES OF SNOW TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT...WITH UP TO 5 INCHES FOR
PARTS OF THE PLATEAU.

ADDITIONALLY...FRIGID CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED. TEMPERATURES WILL
BE THE COLDEST OF THE SEASON SO FAR...AND GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS
WILL DROP WIND CHILL VALUES INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS TODAY...AND
BELOW ZERO TONIGHT. THE WINDS...OVER 40 MPH AT TIMES...WILL BE
STRONG ENOUGH TO BLOW DOWN SOME SMALL LIMBS AND BLOW AROUND OTHER
LOOSE OBJECTS SUCH AS HOLIDAY DECORATIONS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A WIND CHILL
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO NOON CST MONDAY.

* TIMING: SNOW SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP TODAY AND CONTINUE INTO THE EVENING.

* ACCUMULATIONS: 1 TO 2 INCHES FOR MOST OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE. A FEW
  AREAS COULD HAVE 3 INCHES...ESPECIALLY ON THE HIGHLAND RIM AND
  NEAR TH PLATEAU.

* IMPACTS: SLICK AND SNOW COVERED ROAD CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP.
  GUSTY WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING MORE DIFFICULT...AND VISIBILITY MAY
  BE REDUCED BY PATCHY BLOWING SNOW. WIND CHILL VALUES WILL FALL
  BELOW ZERO TONIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
