The Eddie/Tracy Montgomery Divorce..

This story will be told...NOT in the way it came down but from latest to oldest...

Tracy Montgomery from Facebook this morning: There are two sides to every story.
Despite what is being said, Eddie's cancer had absolutely nothing to do with my decision.
It's what the public doesn't know that finalized an extremely difficult decision that I was forced to make.
I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words and support during this most traumatic time in our lives.. is how the story was first told on Facebook:

allegedly....Eddie Montgomery got served by a waiter when he had dinner with his daughter at his steakhouse in Kentucky Tuesday night.

And he got served divorce papers by an officer of the court.

Eddie, one-half of Montgomery Gentry, was rocked by the marital split from Tracy, who chose to leave him as he prepares for surgery this month for prostate cancer. The couple has been together more than 20 years, but she did not feel strong enough to go through his health battle with him. Eddie reacted with shock, posting notes to his fans on Twitter and Facebook, though he’s since taken them down.

“OMG,” he wrote, according to the Lexington Country Music Examiner, “I just got my heart broke.”

Tracy told Eddie she “can’t deal with the stress of someone going through cancer,” the duo’s publicist, Kirt Webster, confirmed this morning.

Tracy, according to the publicist, called Eddie Tuesday night and asked what he was doing. He told her he was at his restaurant, Eddie Montgomery’s Steakhouse, eating with his 23-year-old daughter, Brooke. Shortly after, the divorce filing was presented to him at the table in front of Brooke.

Eddie held the grand opening for the steakhouse in Harrodsburg, Ky., in September, performing “Lucky Man” at the event. He announced Nov. 18 that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He’s slated to undergo surgery in December

Text messages and tweets by three fugitive siblings who shot at a police officer and robbed a bank reveal a dangerous mindset and a firm bond between the siblings, "We've certainly seen their mindset when... They shot at a law enforcement officer outside of Tampa Bay, Fla., and when they fired inside that bank in Valdosta, Ga. But these additional texts and tweets have given us additional insight," FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett told "Good Morning America" today. " We are concerned and feel that they are going to continue and cause problems to say the least for law enforcement." Ryan Dougherty, 21; his sister Lee Grace E. Dougherty, 29; and half-brother Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, have been on the lam since Aug. 2 when they shot at a police officer attempting to pull their white Subaru Impreza over for speeding.
