CMA Awards Co-Host Brad Paisley and NASCAR Superstar Jeff Gordon Present an All New 2011 Chevrolet Cruze to "Chevrolet Salutes America's Heroes" Winner
NASHVILLE - Wake up and then celebrate into the night with three-time CMA Awards nominee Dierks Bentley when he performs on ABC News' "Good Morning America" Wednesday, Nov. 10 (7:00-9:00 AM/EDT), and then again that night on "The 44th Annual CMA Awards" (8:00-11:00 PM/ET), live from Nashville on the ABC Television Network.
Bentley is nominated in three categories this year, including Male Vocalist, Album for Up On The Ridge, and Musical Event of the Year for "Bad Angel," featuring Miranda Lambert and Jamey Johnson. Bentley won the Horizon Award in 2005 and received the 2008 CMA International Artist Achievement Award.
CMA Awards co-host (and three-time nominee) Brad Paisley and NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon will present an All New 2011 Chevrolet Cruze to the winner of the "Chevrolet Salutes America's Heroes" contest. Chosen from entries submitted online, this member of the armed services has demonstrated the military spirit of overcoming obstacles, inspiring others and positively impacting their country and community.
The "Good Morning America" performance and car presentation will take place on the plaza of the Bridgestone Arena, site of the 2010 CMA Awards. The event is free and open to the public on the corner of Broadway and Fifth Avenue in Nashville and is presented by Chevrolet.
ABC's "Good Morning America" will ramp up the excitement leading to "The 44th Annual CMA Awards," airing later that night (8:00-11:00 PM/EST) live from the Bridgestone Arena and hosted by Paisley and Carrie Underwood for the third year.
"With Dierks Bentley performing on 'Good Morning America' you can leave the caffeine in the coffee pot," said CMA Chief Executive Officer Steve Moore. "What a great way to jump start the day."
Previously announced performers for "The 44th Annual CMA Awards" include Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Underwood, and Keith Urban. In addition, special performances will feature Gwyneth Paltrow in her live Country Music singing debut, performing withVince Gill; top nominee Lambert with Sheryl Crow in a tr ibute to Loretta Lynn's 50th anniversary as a recording artist; Zac Brown Band with Alan Jackson, and more to be announced.
Presenters for "Country Music's Biggest Night(tm)" include The Band Perry, Luke Bryan, Easton Corbin, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Jerrod Niemann, Kellie Pickler, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, Chris Young, and NASCAR champion Gordon.
